A Job consists of a number of tasks that can be arranged in sequence. Each task can be assigned to a different contact.

For example, the Job ‘Daily server backup check’ could be divided into the three tasks:

1. Run overnight server backups

2. Check backup results

3. Document and email results

Legrand CRM also provides a progress bar at the top of screen which gives a visual representation of the completion status of each job. The progress bar shows how many tasks have been completed. Against each task you can record time spent, which can be divided into billable and non-billable hours if required.

At the completion of a job, billable time spent can be totalled and entered in the timesheet for export to Quickbooks or Xero.

Jobs have the option to be set as recurring.  The re-occurrence time-frame is specified e.g 3rd Monday of each month and Legrand will automatically schedule a new Job for the time-frame specified. Recurring jobs are denoted with thesymbol.

Job templates can be created which saves time when you need to create multiple jobs with the same tasks for different companies.

In the example below, a template called Server Backup check can be used and edited to reflect each different client that requires this procedure.

The Job module screen displays an overview of all upcoming jobs in the specified time frame. By using Legrand’s search option, you can filter the results of the list based on:

Once filtered, you have the option to view your resulting jobs list as List or calendar Week view by clicking the toggle at the top right of the screen as shown below.

You can add a New Job or New Job Template by simply clicking the ‘Add’ drop-down button at the top left of the screen.
